Sri Sri Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji

Below are some photos taken during a trip on July 11 to the Hanuman Murti on the occasion of the visit of Sri Sri Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji of India to Trinidad. This evening the crowd were treated to the singing of bhajans accompanied by violin, harmonium and tablas; when the devoted joined in together the result was quite sublime...

back to owen sound

after the weekend in the adirondacks i spent three days moving almost everything i own into a 5' x 10' storage space - a satisfying feeling actually. after this was complete i drove to owen sound for my sister's wedding. on the way i took a detour to check out one of the local crags and drove some of the minor roads checking out the villages that i hadn't seen for many years.

scrambling eagle slide on giant mountain

Day 2 in the 'dacks Leanne and I scrambled up eagle slide on Giant mountain, a fun 3rd class scramble on granite slab.

Leanne cranking one of the many crux pitches (easier than it looks, really!)

gotta love the view from the top.

a trip home

So i went home for a couple of weeks and the first thing i did upon arriving in montreal was to leave. my friend leanne and i headed down to the adirondacks for some climbing and scrambling and were joined by my friends erin and jaime.
